My Color

I used to be known for wearing too much color. Any colors matched, as long as they were bright enough. The longer I work in my cubicle in an office with inoperable windows, the more beige my wardrobe becomes. Right now, I’m wearing white and brown. If I searched through my entire closet tonight, I doubt I would even be able to find my bright turquoise shirt that I wore with pink shoes and an orange and white scarf tied around my waist. These days, I’m lucky if I can squeeze in my red shoes with an otherwise completely colorless outfit. I miss my color. I think I should start being colorful again.
